Is Online Poker Rigged?

While playing poker with my poker mates in the poker room. I started a conversation on how they play poker, I can say that some of the poker players are not fortunate as me. We were talking about online poker and one of them was expressing how he struggles to win online. He has been playing poker for many years. In an honest way, I told him that maybe he is showing incompetently at poker tables but I am not saying that he is a bad player because I do not want to offend him.

I have seen bad players playing online poker and noticed that some of the flaws why they are losing the game is because of the way they think. They blame that online poker is a rigged for a reason that they cannot win online. However, there are huge number of skilled poker players who can win online.

Maybe truth really hurts because some players can hardly accept that. Some can tell their bad beats publicly but some are not.

Poker Players Identity and Health

We cannot control other people from bashing the poker game and its star players. My point is that these critics should not criticize all poker players when they see some players act so stupid at the poker tables. I was somewhat shocked from people who had no idea what they are talking about. Each poker player has its own identity. I think it would be better to come up with good opinions than bashing the players.

Actually, the detractor’s main criticism is the health of poker players as a whole. I just think of how many players can be seen at tournaments smoking cigars, eating hotdogs, drinking beers, and so on and so forth. Some players constantly pick wrong choice of food and others drink alcohol more often at the tables, which is not good for their body. Poker players’ health is definitely at risk.

Poker players should start monitoring their eating habits and keep themselves aware about their attitude to avoid bashers who are always around waiting for a blip.

Stop complaining at Poker Game

Stop complaining, It’s killing your game

You shift your focus away from the game when you complain for you have less attention on the game. It is distracting your strategies to win, it is hard to determine what kind of hand you need, and what are you going to do to defeat your opponents.

It becomes a public display when you are bitching out loud especially if you are man. Some players will begin to play more aggressively and they will find a way to make moves against you. You have to value important situations than focusing all your energy bitching around.

Stop acting like a helpless individual for it is even tougher when you constantly focus on the bad and painful things. You are not going to have many friends by acting like a stupid person at the table and you are not going to have fun when all you are doing is bitching.

How to become a Serious Poker Player?

It is always a dream to become a professional player. Though, I have played many times at the table and compete with skilled poker players, I believe that I still need to study more about playing poker. It is a continuous learning process to acquire more knowledge. A serious level of commitment is one the prerequisite to become a professional poker player.

Don’t ever think to quit when you lose a game. You have to keep in mind that the more you experience failure, the more you will know the secret of the game. Watching tournaments on the television, reading books, and searching in the internet are not enough to attain the highest poker level. Taking notes of how many times you win or lose is the best way to do to keep track of your skill level. By doing this, you can monitor on which part of your abilities that needs improvement.

Make it a habit to study and you must learn to discipline yourself to play effective and consistent at the tables. Goodluck!
